In this 2-in-1 taster lecture, Dr Gavin Schwartz-Leeper, our Deputy Head of the School for Cross-faculty Studies (Liberal Arts), will give you an introduction to Warwick’s Liberal Arts programme and our “problem-based learning” methodology. This process helps support you to tackle the complex problems that matter to you by drawing on a wide range of subjects and methods.
Dr Peter Dwyer, our Director of Student Experience (GSD), will then give you a glimpse into the BASc Global Sustainable Development course, an innovative programme that challenges you to think critically about some of the world’s Big Questions and to consider practical solutions to these problems.
