    References
    The Centre for Lifelong learning provides a number of choices where references are concerned. You can provide:
     
     one academic reference from someone who has taught you in a formal academic setting
     two professional references from individuals who have line managed you in a professional, workplace environment (including casual and voluntary work)
     two character references from individuals who know you well and can write about your personality, ambitions and achievements. Character references cannot come from family members
